Fayette Alliance invites you to attend Grow Smart Academy! Grow Smart Academy is a free, four-session program designed to educate Lexingtonians on land-use planning and its relationship to our community’s economic development, environment, and quality of life. If you’re interested in learning more about how land use impacts your daily life — from public transit, walkability, housing affordability, greenspaces, climate, and livelihood — join us and register for Grow Smart Academy to learn more about these local issues from national and community experts. Grow Smart Academy will be featuring keynote speaker, Jeff Speck, a city planner and author, who advocates internationally for more walkable cities. His book, "Walkable City", is the best-selling urban planning book of the last decade and his TED Talks have been viewed millions of times. Grow Smart Academy sessions will be on May 8th, June 13th, July 11th, and August 5th from 5:30pm-8:00pm at various locations around Lexington, with dinner provided.
