If you or someone you know who has a disability or medical complication needs a COVID-19 test, the Fayette County Health Department can send a nurse with a test to your door. They will explain how to use the swab and will take your test kit back with them. In most cases, they can bring you a test if needed that same day or early the next.
Please note - if you take Wheels (paratransit service) to a drive-through test site, the driver may drop you off and come back in a few hours. Since the drive-through test sites are in parking lots, this is not ideal. If you would usually take Wheels to an appointment, use the home test option instead.
In Fayette County, just call (859) 899-2222 and tell them you need a COVID test kit brought to your door. This service is provided by the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department.
