Neighborhood Youth Council (NYC) empowers youth to take leadership and service roles in their community. The mission is to Create, Advocate, Service, and Educate the community; through community development projects, promoting creativity, safe spaces, and raising awareness of social justice issues. NYC works closely with other local youth organizations, neighborhood associations, and city government to increase the availability of positive programming for youth in the city.
